Prueba Multimedia, pregunta 3



3. Reflexione brevemente acerca del valor del tiempo o la palabra en internet y los desafíos que sus diferentes perspectivas representan actualmente para el quehacer periodístico.


En esto punto me gustaría realizar el ejercicio de relacionar ambos conceptos, en orden de verificar su valoración inversamente proporcional en el plano digital. Si lo planteamos desde un punto de vista materialista, podemos advertir que en la web el tiempo es un bien escaso, aun cuando sea una de las plataformas que acapara más tiempo del usuario. La escasez radica en la inmensa competencia de medios que buscan envolver la “atención”, o más bien dicho, el click y el scrolling del usuario.

Por su parte, la palabra -y su conjunto convertido en relato- ha aumentado su cantidad exponencialmente. Así, podemos encontrar textos de diversa extensión y calidad. Asimismo, hoy se enfrenta a una gran variedad de lenguajes alternativos, que suplantan y/o complementan su función, lo que ha permitido una devaluación del texto, el cual pocas veces es sometido a un análisis por parte del usuario, tanto así, que es bastante difícil que sea siquiera leído en su totalidad. Dicho esto, probablemente sea el tiempo, o la falta de él, el peor amigo de la palabra. El tiempo la moldea a su gusto y antojo, la somete a su necesidad y advierte su fragilidad.

2- De los diferentes modelos piramidales citados en el texto, ¿cuál cree usted que es más apropiado para narrar en la web las siguientes noticias y por qué? Elija 2 de 3

Tragedia aérea del equipo brasileño de fútbol Chapecoense: Para este caso, según la lectura que tuvieron los medios, y por ende, la que debe significar una homeostasis entre sus necesidades y las de la audiencia, me inclino por El Diamante de las noticias. Mi justificación radica en que la estructura que tuvo esta noticia se adecúa perfectamente a la descrita por el autor.

Su comienzo es una alerta, bastante fuerte, sobre una tragedia. Posteriormente surgieron borradores que buscaban emitir un esquicio sobre el accidente y sus causales. A su vez, emergían relatos extraoficiales, tanto de familiares como de conocedores o antiguos usuarios de la empresa, que buscaban acrecentar el relato. A medida que avanzaban las horas y se tenía una mayor certeza sobre los hechos, era posible aportar un contexto fidedigno del suceso, mientras se enlazaba con anteriores tragedias de carácter similar. Alrededor, circula el juicio moral desde la audiencia, tanto hacia los responsables como hacia acciones del ambiente deportivo. En resumen, lo que aquí se ve implementado es la lógica de la noticia que nunca está terminada, tal como se menciona en el texto.


El segundo caso será la reforma al sistema de pensiones (AFP). La estructura escogida es la pirámide tumbada, pues la complejidad y variedad de aristas que conlleva abordar correctamente esta situación, se adapta al modelo mencionado anteriormente.


“Los datos investigados indican que los criterios usados por los periodistas para ordenar la información no necesariamente eran los mismos que los de los lectores” (Camus: 32). Cabe mencionar que ni los lectores tienen un mismo criterio, el cual es menos consensuado aún frente a un escenario tan complejo y polémico. A mi parecer, lo que prima aquí es la calidad de información puesta a disposición del lector, lo que brinda a éste último una mayor independencia sobre lo que quiere o no saber respecto a esta temática.

El advenimiento de la era digital y su incidencia en las formas de comunicar, es sin duda uno de los últimos grandes hitos que intervino al sistema social. Dicho esto, podemos situar a la multimedialidad como uno de los avances más destacados, en pos de lograr un espacio mucho más integral, ayudando así a la mayor comprensión de una diversidad de fenómenos.

No obstante, hoy es la interactividad la que permite a una página web situarse por sobre las demás. Entre las actividades descritas en el libro “tienes cinco segundos” está la interactividad a nivel de contenidos y la de hipertexto. Pétalo de margarita à “interactivar”

El presente año fue premiado por los webby awards debido a su home page, la que resulta bastante acogedora e invita al usuario a indagar en el resto de los contenidos de la página.

·       https://mapasinteractivos.didactalia.net/ Este ejemplo pertenece a la interactividad con los contenidos. En este caso es con mapas geográficos de varias partes del mundo.


·         http://www.agendamusical.cl/ Finalmente, presentamos una página que reúne gran cantidad de eventos musicales, donde además nos permite acceder a las páginas donde podemos comprar los tickets respectivos.

English language challenges

When I got to college, the day of the registration, I had no idea that you should do an English test. That same surprise declined in the moment that they told me to be in the second of four levels of the language. Throughout this process, I have improved my tools, not as much as I wish but it has served me.
However, as mentioned above, the courses have not meant the expected learning because I think is very complex to learn a language with that amount of hours a week. No doubt that the work must be complete and you have to put much more dedication from both the student and the teacher.
Blogs seem to me a positive alternative to the learning process, which synergizes and differs over traditional methods and also integrates the use of technology into the curriculum.
One of the things that I most urgently need to improve is the speaking ability. When I’m expressing an idea it emerges immediately a deficiency to make sentences correctly. Anyway, I really want to improve this, my goal is, in the near future to be a master in this language, so I have two options in mind: the first is to take a crash course when I finish college and the second one lies on traveling to a country where the language is spoken, take a course and take advantage of the contacts in the day to accelerate and ensure learning.

Today my connection with English is through series, movies, music and games in English that  I intentionally set up (SAP for example) to be closer to the language and more in touch.

Change to my study program

Regardless of my personal thoughts, I think the subjects that we have are useful for our general and professional training, however, I think we could give more importance to other disciplines that will also affect us tomorrow so we can make good journalism
In first place, I will add subjects that had relation to history, because until now they are only optional. Its content should be focused on history of Chile and its relation to the world history, this relation contributes directly to the idea of ​​contextualizing the contents that we have to work.
Another important topic that could be added is economy. Last semester I had an elective subject of this matter and I understood the importance of this discipline in our work. Politics also are an important discipline that several students of this school like, should not be forgotten that, as the teacher said: politics and the economy are a marriage.
With the current number of subjects that we must pass, it seems to me that is exaggerated that the careers length is 10 semesters, but with the inclusion of the matters mentioned above, perhaps it would be understandable that this period lasts five academic years.
On facilities, initially, we always had problems with the classrooms, as sometimes there was no availability of an optimum location for the number of people who were in the course, however, with the new installation of classrooms this problem was solved. However, the big problem of our Institute is its precariousness of the tools that require the career of Journalism. I mean promptly to audio visual equipment. Cameras, recorders and many other supplies needed for our training are not enough to the number of students, so it becomes very complex to carry out academic work that requires technological devices.

Finally, on methods, it is a fairly complex issue, since the university gives academic freedom for teachers, which has very positive aspects, but ICEI, often leads to very different lines, which end deferring the profile they told you when you enter.

Winter Holidays!

Although winter vacations are shorter than summer ones, they are the ones that I like the most. I´ve always had preferred cold weather over the warm one, I feel that you rest better. For this reason particularly, it´s not weird that my favorite place is the south of Chile, where de weather is of my taste.
So, when I finish my courses, I will go directly to the bus station to buy a ticket to Puerto Montt. In this city lives my aunt and she is always happy to receive me, she loves to cook and to talk about the news of the country, so I will definitively spend time with her.
After being in her place, I will go to Angelmo´s bay to see some seals and eat a delicious salmon ceviche. With my stomach full I walk by the road watching the sea and its waves. This vacations I hope to fulfill a debt with myself, go to see a match of the local soccer team: Deportes Puerto Montt, in the Chinquihue stadium. The times that I’ve been there before, the stadium have been always in reparations, but this time there will be no excuses, the stadium is beautiful because in an area of the stadium there are no seats so you can see the sea and the islands surrounding the place.

Another of my plans is to revisit the kunstman brewery, which is in Valdivia, I’ve been there twice, but its food and beer are worthy of visit every time that is possible.

The strike

Education in Chile its going through a rough patch, but this is not for now only, its been going on for a long time. Truth be told the private education, college education mostly, it came to give options to the youth in order to increase the ratio of choices and access to this education, also brought with itself a huge amount of bad things that hasn´t been fixed until today. The high prices of the careers and the debt that the young ones have to take in order to study, are only the most visible problem, but not the only one, since the quality of the education is other subject open for discussion.
From the communication area, my way to fix this issue, is creating the debates of this kind of topics, so the people starts to think about the education and understand the urgency that this subjects has. I can also help sharing the knowledge that the university shares with my in order to be used by other groups that want to change the actual scenario.
I believe that the strikings are a very effective way to put pressure, as long as this time is used effectively. Whether is making aliances with others groups of students and working organizations and even doing works related to the social changes.
Finally, for me the strike doesn´t mean that the stage of the students y seen undermined , since knowledge isn´t only in the classroom.
